This poem in representation of a prayer, was asked of me to write, for a Prayers Releasing Ceremony, with their congregation releasing balloons along with prayers gathered throughout the year.

RELEASE We are gathered here, with loved ones dear, Our prayers we’ve gathered throughout this year, Our hearts and souls to you release, To you oh Father, God of our peace, OmniPresent One, who hears and answer prayers, We release and cast upon you our cares, God of mercy, Prayers for mercy, release, God of our healing, prayers for healing, release, God of provision, Prayers for provision, release God of miracles, Prayers for miracles, release, Father of all of our loved ones, All of our love ones, we release, And Father if we know that you hear, all of our prayers we pray, By faith we receive all that we’ve released today.
