Relationships
Not at permanent as I thought,
As I watch these relationships crumble.
I turn my head, and there goes one,
Destroyed like the one before it.
People fight, and people cry,
But that’s no reason to be in haste.
People are people, and we need each other,
So let’s not burn the bridges we’ve made.
At a rate like this, our children will be,
In a world full of hatred and war.
We are getting torn apart like string cheese,
As if we weren’t falling apart already.
Taped together at the seams,
Is what we all look like now.
And the only way we can fix this now,
Is to rebuild the bridges we’ve burnt.
