Relationships
Relationships are hard,
As soon as you think you can trust someone they remind you to keep up your guard,
Therefore you should always remember in this game of life to NEVER show your cards.
Relationships are scary,
You never know what secrets will become unburied,
Or how much of the other person's weight you'll be burdened to carry..
Relationships are exhausting and confusing,
Now don't get me wrong because they can also be fun and amusing,
Though 50% of the time you will feel like you're losing..
Losing not only yourself but your patience, your time, and your worth,
One thing you must remember though is that you are all that you believe and put forth.
Relationships are hard,
There are certain things you just won't be able to discard,
Or even disregard,
In turn the next result is putting back up your guard,
Now the key to your heart feels barred..
Barred...Protected...
No longer feeling as if you've been neglected,
Like your feelings are never the ones being selected,
My last standing question is who are the culprits being suspected?
