Gently does the westerly wind touch my face. A loving maternal caress that does trace The space that does thread round with each walking pace. Reviving the flower within that I am With grace, in an unblemished vase, called grandam.

Grandam? Is that what grandchildren call you, do you have grandchildren? I accepted long ago that I would never be a grandmother, but in late March I'm to be a step-granny, if you will, but I'm sure my step-daughter's real Mom won't give me much room. Your pen flowed with pure talent for this poem! I, too, have been trying to revive the flower that I am in memories prior to 9-24. I'm talking body, your talking internal. I lost a lot of muscle. Poetry Hugs ... CayCay

Dear Eve, You beautifully and eloquently captured the essence of an autumnal stroll. I loved the gentle westerly wind you describe, which evoked a sense of maternal comfort, perfectly mirroring the nurturing aspect of nature. I felt the transformative power of nature in your words, showing how a simple walk can rejuvenate the spirit. I am a believer! Spring Blessings, my Dear Friend, Daniel
