Rejoicing In the Lord
Rejoicing in the Lord* for His granted salvation
We’re assured of heaven against hell’s awful damnation
Thus, we can claim His promises with His faithfulness’ confirmation
As we delight in His grace, overcoming doubt and confusion’s intervention.
Rejoicing in the Lord as well as in His perfect Scriptures
We’re thankful to His compassionate gestures
Thus, we can be satisfied in His abundant grace-pastures
As we seek His wisdom in our faith-driven ventures.
Rejoicing in the Lord within His worship sanctuary
We’re enabled to praise Him for His acts of victory
Thus, we can proclaim His Gospel and redemption story
As we meet Him for our revival against sin-injury.
Rejoicing in the Lord along His ready strengthening
We’re empowered from worldliness’ draining
Thus, we can dwell in His will for prosperous righteousness-gaining
As we follow His leadership in our obedient learning.
Rejoicing in the Lord for His abundant sufficiency
We’re supplied midst scarcity and deficiency
Thus, we can come to His fellowship with trust’s fervency
As we settled in His contentment while working for His excellency.
Rejoicing in the Lord for His answered-prayer settlement
We’re encouraged to yield to Him every moment
Thus, we can draw nigh to Him in prayer-engagement
As we involve in His mission for heavenly enrichment.
Rejoicing in the Lord with His holy standards
We’re protected by His sanctifying safeguards
Thus, we can serve Him with all our best despite trials’ hazards
As we wait for His coming with His rewards for us, diligent stewards.
*Philippians 1:26 That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ.
