Rejoicing
Let me replace your sadness, fears, pity and frustration…my heart’s
thumping with anticipation & apprehension
With jubilance, satisfaction, liberty and cheers – that would make you and I rather
cheery without a flame of fury – cast away the grief and guilt in your mind
We’ll be free like eagles, taking wing from on high and we’ll be lookin’ fine…we’re
rejoicing with joyous jubilation
We’ll be shimmering like the moonlight…and we’ll be flyin’ above cloud seven – we’ll
be in our heavenly haven in no time – slow down, you’re flying too fast – slow
down…I’m really falling behind
*Chorus*
I need you to ascend from your debris – let’s dance the night away! We will arise
from our ashes like a fervent, blazing phoenix
Tell me if I’m as handsome as the lion that’s graceful, strong and courageous…I
know for a fact that you are dangerously magnificent and gloriously precious
Believe in me…reflect on me…let’s push away the worries that want to ruin our
night spent together…God has two hearts to fix
I love it when you wrap yourself around me like my own personal, warm blanket
on this moon-drenched night – you are so gorgeous…so gracious!
Come home with me and we’ll fly away from captivity…we’ll be no longer in chains
& we’ll be on the same page
You move me like a car, driving on the freeway – I’m hoping you won’t outdrive
me today!
Run along with me in the sun and we’ll be soaring in unity…we’ll be singing in unison
and we’ll be pleased with a passion, but first – let’s find a way out of the cage
Dance and prance all night long with me on this illuminated night and we’ll be having
it our way…
I need you to ascend from your debris – let’s dance the night away! We will arise
from our ashes like a fervent, blazing phoenix
We’ll be shimmering like the moonlight…and we’ll be flyin’ above cloud seven – we’ll
be in our heavenly haven in no time and God will have two hearts to fix
