Rejected

There’s a party at my “friends” place,
or so the rumor goes.
But I ain’t been invited,
just why, do you suppose?

My odor-eaters work just fine!
I washed my mouth with scope!
This morning in the shower,
I used the sweetest smelling soap!

All my clothes are fresh and clean,
just washed them yesterday,
so why I ain’t invited,
I really couldn’t say!

I’ve got other friends you know,
so have yourselves a ball!
I don’t care, one little bit,
it doesn’t bother me at all!

I’ll find something else to do.
I’m gonna be just fine.
Don’t be concerned, one little bit,
that’s the bottom line!

The rhyme and rhythm in this one is great. The topic is great one that you have chosen and I feel that the group that you feel rejected you are on the loosing end of the deal. Keep the creative pen flowing. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my poem about "Bowling Competition" which was really about an early morning storm that I was comparing the sounds to a bowling alley. Sara
