Mama hello
Everyone here is so nice
Makes me think twice
It tires me to be so clean
Makes me a little mean
that I gotta wear shoes

Mama, did you know grass could be so green?
So green....
it's obscene the attention that’s paid to it.

Daddy's surprised I shave my legs
Not sure why that makes me feel guilty
Thinks I should be Little forever
whatever

Mama scrape all your money together
send me a ticket in your next letter
So I can ride the next bus home

Mama come get before I sin
I wanna be in your crazy,
your forgiving arms again.
