Regretting Cake

Oh! now regretting cake
hands are weak so can't bake
                                  time's gone memories run
will come back the past fun?
Wow! hearts are young till now
sometimes compels to do any how
in dry weather there's no rain drops
of the two any one surely flops

I do not bake anymore either. I buy them already baked. Like you, I would rather reminisce. Enjoyed reading you today, my friend.

Superbly written..it's amazing the loss one feels when physically unable to "bake a cake" as the bonding and sharing is so reminiscent of treasured times spent together. I love your interpretation, a pleasure to read.. my best to you in the contest. blessings, lynn
