Regrets

Wandering along a lifeless road cloaked by pashima of acid night, a metal sky cuts treetops in half biting her skin beneath pale stars--- tears rush like nickel-blue of isolation as feet dig cemented steps to carry heart's burden past windows of fading regrets.
