Regret

You spent more time
At her grave than you
Did at home with her
When she could breathe
And her heart could beat
So I'm not sure which
One you liked more;
Her brown eyes or
The brown wood her
Coffin was made of.

Great lines to question... The sincerity of a devotion... Ha, is the regrets displayed.... Over brown eyes or brown wood indeed!
