Regret

I don’t want to fall in love anymore

Being in love has made me numb

My heart will feel no more

it has become senseless and dumb

I don’t think I can pick up the pieces

He shattered me and ran

I know it will take me ages

To forget the pain from that man

It has been one sided all along

I did everything he requires

I always thought that we belong

But he only wanted me for his desires

I really loved him deeply

More than I have loved myself

I thought that he really loved me

But he only thought about himself.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Smile ~ "Yes," life is Always a two way street dear &, so is love....We should forever glance into the mirror I believe for, therein We shall find that, the Truth can never hide....Live & learn, learn & live &, to perhaps smother something bit by bit well, in the end We only have ourselves to blame....Very deep & good luck with "Your Precious Heart" ~ "Much Love & Warmth Always to You &, All You Love," John! ~ Smile, "Have A Very Blessed & Beautiful Day Dear;" Bye!:) ~
