Regret

There are things which have no resolve, Guilt and pain most often involved; Wishing for peace, hoping for love, Regret casts a shade most dire. Courage and strength must acquire, Those qualities sent from above; For anguished we argue in vain, So often resolve not attained. 11/7/2018

Very insightful and well constructed verse, Deb - my kind of poetry. Many thanks for your kind comment re a couple of my nonsensical limericks. I love to compose them and hope I can come up with more - Best on you - Bob

Thanks, Vijay. Regret seems to me the most difficult of emotions to solve. So often, the feelings of regret come after the opportunity to act is lost. I appreciate you reading and commenting on my writing. I always look forward to your words.
