Refused To Go
Refused To Go
I should have joined the Air Force
This is very clear to me now
At the time it wasn't clear
The sudden new mad moods in me
My life would've been different
But as my dad said
I refused to go for whatever reason
The was within myself I guess
Partly ongoing but partly over
Back then I prepared no options
And I had no Plan B to follow
I or my life never recovered from that
The rest is history and life
I was no Air Force brat
Who was arming Tornado planes
In a war with the Soviets
I imagine what could have been
I forgive myself for it
But I made up for it
In my own way
By writing...
