Refracting Light
Morning light refracts
Breaking yonder through the window pane
Falls asleep beside my feet
And I ponder what it has to say
Lying dormant bound and picturesque
It offers up a thousand thoughts
As it recedes back up into diamond dusk
I find myself among debate of profound and inner wroughts
In philosophy the mind still believes it sees the light
Ancient as the stars a million miles ago
Takes upon a journey to places deep and further in
Passed the minutes of the man only seconds before I once have known
