Reflections On the Glass Lake
Self-pity and I
Need no longer try
My minds traveling to see
Quiescence, amongst the hills
A wall of chill fills my lungs
A clusters of color reflecting in the water
Trickling silvery falls washing down and gleam
Ponder here I think and dream
Here where my feet sink in the moist grass
God must of left this untouched heaven for me
A faint waver of a leaf in the breeze
Loss of its emerald charm that once pleased
Swinging in the arm of a branch
At its last surviving chance of life
Soon to be a part of a painted picture of fall
And I feel so small
Between these mountains and kingdoms
In a bubble
I reach my hand across the lake
Its looks like glass is it fake?
Rippling far and mirrored
Than disappeared
He appeared, guarding me
Triumphantly I see
