Reflections on Good and Evil
They call the darkness light and light as woe,
Twisting the truth as shadow claims the day.
Who dares to teach what hearts refuse to know?
Sweet becomes bitter as false virtues grow,
Their words a mirror’s haze, leading astray.
They call the darkness light and light as woe.
Blind to the path where honest rivers flow,
Lost in the fog of pride, their feet delay.
Who dares to teach what hearts refuse to know?
Right becomes wrong, and wrong no longer low,
In tangled tongues, they veil the righteous way.
They call the darkness light and light as woe.
Truth stands apart where only few bestow
The courage to resist, the strength to say:
Who dares to teach what hearts refuse to know?
Echoes of prophets: warnings long ago—
Evil as good, as night consumes the gray.
They call the darkness light and light as woe.
