Reflections of Love

I kissed you in the tender light
Of the voyuer moon upon a darkness
When the quivering stars in night
Laughs out in unfading gladness.

I held you when the silent tears
Of dew gathered softly in your eyes
As we prowled in passionate cares
Till the last light of moon dies.

I watched you in pale and in fear
When a thousand hells are upon you
Yet I promise dear to chase the tear
Come my love,I will fight for you.

When woesome foes may creep
To forever mute your living breath
I'll arm your fears ever so deep 
And shield away this dreaded death.

Faithless me oh never to believe
That prayer had played its part
This day I die within this dream
In the colours of your heart!
