Reflections In the Water
Reflections in the Water
Barely perceptible beginning
A soft wet caress on ones face
Gentle pitter-patter gaining strength
Puddles forming erupting with exploding raindrops
Life’s poetry played there out by drops
The sweet summer squall disappears as quickly as it came
With largesse its finish on the pools now given a fond adieu
Rain lost suns power now bring them to a perfect reflection
Mirror now of the lovely bright light and flowers and of trees
Peace under heaven
Peace under heaven again
Reflets dans I’eau
(my crude hackings inspired by Monsieur Debussy’s magnificent piece!)
