I look into your eyes, all the tears, years pass on by Memories, songs, poems filled with light, Gentlest embrace, softest kiss, trembling grace I look into your eyes, all the moments buried there, Intimacies, passions, burning fires in silence, Miracles and wonders, poured out on the soul I look into your eyes, the color of a quiet sea Melodies of autumn winds and healing, misty Wings moving, dancing in the wind, sensitivity I look into your eyes, flowing with forest’s grief Seeing the sighs, in rustling petals, coloring the trees Blessings murmur through the leaves, surreal I look into your eyes, humbled by the strength, Thoughts pouring over my spirit, when weak Bringing encouragement despite the darkest grief I look into your eyes, hesitating to agree, true peace Echoed on the twinkling, stars lingering, quietly Teaching me to simply believe, where love sees I look into your eyes, moving past the mysteries, Telling me about the kindness, compassion, mercy Raining down through the unending skies, I look into your eyes, peeling back the blank stares To reveal the racing heart, the tender prayers Fears that soften the moment, tell of the soul’s panic I look into your eyes, and it is there that I see pieces It is me, there – looking back and I see, illuminated by bits Of me, fragments of light, hints of a heart I look into your eyes, where there has been pain, joy All the wonder of knowing – God will ever restore What has brought sorrow won’t shadow the morrow I look into your eyes, and there comes a pleasure, The knowing that whatever might come, whatever moment I will always know you as the soul who is grown from hope, The soul who is known for the most generous love, Love that is more – so much more Love that reminds me, when I look into your eyes, It is love that I see, love that I believe… Will always remind me that you are my friend And this love I feel for you is love that will never end!

Is this masterpiece about your husband? It seems like the kind of things that are seen by you when looking into your eyes are intimates shared by a married couple. Great job with this.
