Reflections

In a mirror of Ebony, golden gilt
A glimpse of beauty in a dream
As shadows take all hope away
A pearly tear touches the burnished surface

A glimpse of beauty in a dream
A hope in the sorrow of no tomorrow
A pearly tear touches the surface
And memory fades, locked in endless chains

A hope in the sorrow of no tomorrow
As shadows take all hope away
And memory fades, locked in endless chains
In a mirror of Ebony, golden gilt
