Reflections

I look in the mirror and guess what I see My green eyes staring back at me No longer sparkling and full of life Full of tears from my worry and strife I long for the days when the tears will stop But now it’s a constant drip drip drip drop My head is spinning, my mind in a whirl I want to be back to a carefree young girl The last few years have been the worst of my life I try my best to be a daughter, mother and wife Please God ease my worries, please set me free All I want to is to return to just being me 22nd December 2014

A great poem Jan. I am sad that that times are hard for you. I know how hard life can seem at times, i know writing helps me get over the worst times and i guess it must help you also. Please remember you have friends. Hugs xxx Shane

Jan, Though "Reflections" isn't celebratory, it is mellow sad, and calls for a prayer. Please God, let your divine light give warmth to her heart; embrace Jan as only you can, dissolve any problem forthwith, shower her and her dear ones with opulent blessings now, and beyond. In your name*** Peace and love...

Jan, you have my heartfelt sorrow and sympathy! I know that this soon shall pass, and time heals all wounds, are my favorite healing lines! It doesn't seem like much at the moment because of all the intense pain you are going through, but it really will get better one day! Trust me, I've been through a lot myself, and I know that time heals, you don't forget, but your wound isn't gushing with pain! You are in my prayers my friend, and I hope you can bring about a smile this holiday! I care!!

I read one of your poems that brought me tears of laughter, then I read this and my tears are from sadness knowing you are hurting. I can only say someday you'll find that laughter and joy again. I'll pray you find peace.

Hi Jan! I don't even know what to say my dear friend but that no matter what you're going thru God is with you and believe that you'll be fine this will pass and you will see the sun shine again in front of your eyes. Just like the weather after a very dark storm you'll see the sun and rainbows again. Being there and done this and that, my advice believe me just keep your faith and dreams. Be positive!Believe in yourself. And yes pray a lot to God. Seek Him first. You'll be fine soon. I'll be including you in my daily prayers, okay, my very dear friend. God give you his strength is my wish for you! :) Love and hugs! xxXX D.

A very thoughtful human poem! Reality, some times, is unbearable but our soul is prepared for all eventualities. It is when we suffer more than our soul grows stronger and we become wiser dear, Jan! The storm will pass soon and your green eyes will be smiling again! Excellent work!
