Reflections

The rain has stopped puddles lining the pavement And I gaze down at an especially clear one Examining myself who am I? I wonder Have I really changed so much in so few years? I look older, more mature but I know I haven't changed much on the inside. Mirrors reflect only on your outsides, the new shell you have grown into But on the inside, I'm still the same person Still the same little girl innocent and unknowing Why do I look so different now from what I was two years ago, when I stood in the same spot on the same street asking the same questions the very same questions, which I still have yet to answer.
