Reflection of Kindness

Does kindness look back at you with grace
When you hold the mirror up to your face

Have you done good in your life
And helped others through their strife

Or have you sat idly by and by
And ignored others as they cry and cry

Do you spend the time to lend a sympathetic ear
And let others know their woes you truly do care

Do you live the good life above it all
Or do you do acts of good others can recall

Have you woven virtues of kindness into your life themes
Or do you secretly revel when others come apart at the seams

For if you go above and beyond to the betterment of one's sad story
Mankind lifts higher for the downtrodden glory

hope that someone knows my deeds, and that they have been kind. I have tried to be kind...but am sure I have not always been.
