Reflection In the Mirror

I look in the mirror and what do I see? Is the reflection I observe really coming from me? My eyes are sunk in and my body looks frail, I see this reflection and my heart wants to wail. I sometimes wonder why God put me here, I search and I ponder, but His will is unclear. “Life is hard, but God is good,” a friend said to me, But this little phrase doesn’t set my mind free. Pains in my heart no one can restore, The only solution is to open the door, To let Christ in my heart and do His work, To rid my soul of the demons that lurk. I look in the mirror and what do I see? Is the reflection I observe really coming from me? My eyes are shining and my body looks strong, This is the me I have been wanting for so long.
