Reflection In Silence
Silence reverberate through picturesque
Soft glow; against the wakeful night darkness
Spinning a dance of fine idyllic threads
Wherein yesterday are not forgotten.
I evoke the narrative of my youth.
A gifted love now lost in the waning moon.
Where he and I unite with distant hymn lull
Nightingales that always brings him back to keep.
A lullaby, they sing my heart to appease.
Once, devoured by his fathomless steel blue eyes.
My fingers would get lost in his blond twirl curls,
Lust numb kisses in a trice of time in warm
Whiffs embrace; then gently fades in silence.
Amidst dim midnight twilight and spun gold,
Somber dappled auburn shade of early dawn.
