Reflection

Hello my friend, are you still awake!
Don't be afraid, don't go away
I'm not a delusion but a part of your mind
Trying to ease you at this time of day.

Tell me the reason why you still can't sleep
Is it pain, remorse, or the voice in your ears?
Unlock your doors, let me see your mind
Have faith in me, I'm allied to your life.

Be kind to yourself, its not your fault
You're not a cynic, so don't go astray
In this world of chaos and crime
Love is another luxury which you can't afford.

I'll sing a lullaby for you to sleep
Emancipate you from all your griefs
You're safe in my hands, I got your back
And I'll carry you till you are able to act.
