Reflection
I have poems in here
Dating back when I was 16
Now i'm 18 and about to graduate
It feels so serene
Looking back to who I use to be
It's funny because i'm so different
I used to envy the popular girls
Now I am one
I just had to tap into my inner confidence
I used to be so insecure and everyone could tell
Now I hide behind a colorful mask
painted so beautiful
only I know when I have doubts about myself
I used to be chubby
Now I lost the weight the healthy way
I can fit into jeans of a size 5
I used to stress myself out about math
I though graduating was so hard
Now I know it's in reach with the
help of tutor and some extra studying
I used to fear my surroundings
Now I welcome them no matter how hard
they seem
I have friends who I trust now
Instead of ones I fear won't stick around
I've matured
I am ready for what's in store
I am far better off emotionally
I have the strength to step through
