Reflection

The fire burns and your eyes become strangly bright
for all your happy ever afters start to unwind
though you stumble though you fall
a truthful reflection from a crystal ball,
tells you the flame is to remain the same
and to let go of all the pain
for you try hard not to show it
by letting go of all your fear and holding on to a dream
you believe is so near
as the sky cries a shower of tears a gypsy appears
telling you there is no fire burning
it was all just an illusion of a lonely soul crying
on the edge of a flame that will one day burn away..
