Reflection

She dropped sonnets in cracks of Earth Perfectly placed for true treasure to be found So profound Lyrics so harmonious Took sacred eyes to understand A collection of stained pages Only to be read backwards Revealing Reflection Resurrection So the outwards matches the in I reach through the glass to caress coarse hair My marbled mirror paints portraits A glance once lost in vain Makes strangers no longer estranged She stepped through the mirror Once just my reflection Becomes an entity of my reality My body envelops her outlook I look towards the mirror As I speak I find The sonnets she wrote weren't hers They have always been mine
