Reflect
I reflect
On my life years ago
And things that never were.
I wonder
What I would do different
And where I’d be now.
I think
About all that I missed out on
And if my choices were right.
I search
For who I am
And who I want to be.
I hope
I can finally make peace
And quit looking in the past.
I know
I can’t change it now
And don’t think that I would.
I look
At what all lies ahead
And strive toward my goals.
I realize
Things aren’t all that bad
And I have more to give.
