Redemption

REASONS BEYOND MY CONTROL
HAVE LEFT ME COLD
AN EMPTY SHELL OF BEING
MINDLESS DOING
A VAPOR
CARESSING THE END
CARELESS
WITHOUT SUBSTANCE
RUNNING TO THE VOID
KISSING THE COLD HANDS
PLEADING FOR MERCY
LABORED MOVEMENT
PULLING ME UNDER THE WAVE
PUSHING HARDER
DON'T LET GO
I'M COMING.

"A man disliked by many And was loved by very few" was such an unexpected twist, it has a ring of complete honesty and truth in it. Nicely done, Carol.

It is amazing how much time we can "waste" on grieving something lost, and yet, sometimes we need to. It's a joy to feel alright about the place you are in though. Keep writing.

hahahahah very funny! But you are right, some people seem to always look at the downside.
