Redeemed and Forgiven
I won't be gay in heaven
And I know you won't be straight;
Our sexual lives won't matter
When we walk through heaven's gate.
When we bow down to be judged
By a God Who has no sin
There's one thing alone to save us
Did you; did i, let Jesus in?
Your sex life is irrelavent
if you gossiped or if you lied.
Jesus Christ, our Lord, will say
"It was for those sins that I died."
I know you like to judge me
Because I don't live like you.
But when we meet out Saviour
It's not about the things we do.
I know that I'm not gay in heaven
And you're not married to your wife;
But through the path of Jesus' cross
We shall share Eternal Life.
While we live our lives down here
You can judge me and ignore;
But you are really judging Jesus
Who took my sin and made me pure.
