Red White Blue

Red White Blue
Are the colors
I honor
So many died
For them long
Ago and still
Die today

Sad but true, Rhonda. It seems we can do little to honor them in ways that match the sacrifice defenders of freedom make. Wonderful poem! Happy Easter, Carolyn

So much truth in this patriotic piece. Nice tribute to those who have sacifice so much for the nation. You may want to consider recatogorizing this under free verse. Much said in this concise poem. Thank you for sharing it and for your kind words on my haiku. Karen
