Red Rose
Yes your lips were as soft as your petals
But the thorns in your stem left stinging tears in my face
So I dropped you down and allowed the world to trample you
For you wanted someone “PERFECT” and I could’nt be
But here we meet again RED ROSE in a different time
You as a lonely woman and I as a the PERFECT ADAM
And there is a sudden magic in our frequent interlude
Minds , hearts and emotions meeting.
But alas there can be no more to it for I am now married to another
While you remain a lonely wandering lover.
Yet I pick you up and place you in my heart
For your thorns have now dried up and become brittle
And Your wilted face has won my favour.
