Thanks Liam. I think its going to be a very challenging few years for us all but the decision has been made in the US and in the Uk with Brexit and we have to give it time to see what implication it will have on us all:-) hugs jan xx

The DNC wanted the status quo. They thought they would have a coronation. Trump outsmarted that. I couldn't vote for either one. Hopefully, the democrats can recover by going back to their roots. We'll see if that is possible. Perhaps Trump will sober up (I doubt it). Things may be messed up for quite some time to come.

It's a worrying time for us all Duke - am so glad I'm not in the US but then again the Brits had a shock with Brexit so maybe Trump being voted in wasn't so surprising people are wanting change... but change isn't always for the best!:-( hugs Jan xx

Loved this senryu Jan..I do believe...people have to take in the result.We had a change of Government after 25yrs..I was.sad about it..but.that is democracy right..amd sometimes achange isnt all that bad..Enjoyed yr senryu dear.

We just have to wait and see what happens Charma I think people voted for change as they did in the UK for Brexit - the votes have been cast, the choices made and we have to see how how things develop:-) hugs jan xx

This is great Jan. I cant believe the way some of Clinton supporters are acting. This is a time when we need to come together. The outcome is the outcome let's move forward. Wall street has confidence. The dow rose by over 200 points yesterday.

Nobody's leaving, Jan. I'm certain their are some that would like to but this is home. That is what democracy is all about. In 4 years, if we don't like it we'll vote for someone else.
