Red Heart, Blue Heart
Fields of lilacs, happy birds
Chirping in the trees
Lakefront breakfast, old wind chimes
Clanging in the breeze
Sitting with the one I love
Sipping French Press roast
Looking deep into her eyes
Giving her the most
Attention I can give
Listening to every word
That comes from her mouth to my ears
And hearing what I've heard
She really has alot to say
She's very sharp and smart
And I'd do well to take it in
And make it all a part
Of what I think and what I do
She's worth her weight in gold
To this troubadour with the red guitar
Who on this bluebird's sold
