Red Ants At Lowll Ponds

As I stroll down this trail
on such a refreshing day,
taking heed of where I step,
so many red ants working together.

Transporting eggs and
food to their homes,
under these hills so
colossal and majestic.

Nature has instructed them,
of what they must do, before
       fall is here,
and cold winds come their way.

Such energy they all have,
and doing a fine job,
will depart from them,
so they can finish what must be done,
goodbye, until another fine day.
