Recurrence

Germany, 1933 ...
It was a democratic fraud of a time
The pale ghost of future war crimes
rattled the chain,
as unholy moans
trumpeted Hitler’s power grab climb
Paradoxically today,
in the midst of looming catastrophic
global warming,
there’s a frigid wind chill ...
Echoes of recurrence
Death transport plans are being prepared
for the eugenic culling of the human cattle
One dropped bomb ... boom!
... and a million are gone
Mushroom wails from souls that are doomed
Reverberations of recurrence
chills the night air
But prosperity sheltered sighs
don’t even try to pretend like they care
As the reign
of dark principalities
in spiritual high places
descend
Showering the earth
with the hydrogen curse
of nuclear sin
Global somewhere ... 2023
Ninety sundial degrees of Hades,
the year of Kelvin solar temperatures —
melting mankind’s mannequin
technological dreams
Can you feel the coming recurring breeze?
An apocalyptic promise democratically guaranteed

Frightening. But for God...

Ty, Maureen and Vijay. Your kind words comfort me to no end. My aged gray visions are dark indeed. When America's so-called leader love praising murderers, and giving drunken toasts to their health, this ghetto preacher can't help but have dark visions befall mankind. But thankfully, God will save His creation from man's destructive urges. Much love and peace to you always.

You foretell dire consequences--best for us to remember lessons of history!
