Recruit Call For Wonder Women Poets

Inroduction"Wonder Woman" was a cartoon character I read a girl. She was super strong and handled huge problems! She was awesome! I have always wanted to be her! Strong, with those groovy boots, great hair and outfit.yes, and those boots? I never wanted to look like some Presidents wives, With dorkydresses and pill box hats, running into churches. I have always wanted to be a wild thing,.Strong and able to handle big issues on my own. And, I have gone just that? Those little girl ideas turned out to be a reality. Not a pansy am I and not owned by anyone. Solving big issues, not hiding behind an apron and unafraid to be political. Even here~~ women are in closets. Do they live on the moon? Under a mushroom? Or in a fairie palace? Where are they? I nearly faint when I find a fearless poet. That's just how my life turned out. As I first wanted it to be! Men are not the leaders they think they are. Some very boneheaded women leaders in the USA, acting like members of the Third Reich. Men, too.! We can make an impact with our poetry. It's needed!!! Time to stop playing gardeners and bird watchers only! Freedom has to be fought for. Poetry is a medium. Being afraid to express yourself because of what others think? That is why......I am.. Calling All Wonder Women!

LOL.I am not personally saying that. I don't want to be a patterned cooki of any woman. Nor do I want to me a man. I apologize for giving that impression. I can't speak for your country. Only for my own. Tbe amount of truly nutty women leaders here gives me nightmares. Women working is a necessity here. Then go home and care for a family? Men don't have that double burden. The glass ceiling broke in the USA long ago. We are now in retrograde for women.in sports especially, we are losing rights. It ticks me off, Tom. Pangie xx

Women are naturally strong, methinks. They have to be in order to deliver babies and then run a home... As for men, it's a wonder we don't trip over our own feet more often... I'm serious. Always have looked up to women -- my mom, my grandmother, my oldest daughter... Glad to be a man, mind you --- just mindful that Wonder Woman doesn't wear a costume. Write on, Pangie! :_ gw

Tbe most painful experience of a life time. I simply meant they need to stop being afraid to express themselves Some here are! Pangie , As I read your poem I think of my late husband and how he encouraged me to stand up for myself and be strong. I was born in an era where it was not acceptable for a women to be strong and unafraid to speak up. Our voices count and through our poetry we may share our thoughts, truly making an impact, as you say. Bravo! Blessings xxoo

Connie dear poetess! So glad you shared yourself. I. Was raised to be quiet. Don't rock The BOAT etc. yuck, I cannot stand it. My late husband encouraged me to speak up , THINK.. ALL VOICES COUNT, CONNIE. These days, if you are not Communist or Socialist, you are on a list to be arrested. ( Add pro-life.) You can be BLM, Antifa or a looter.That's what I mean. Big Tech, Google( do not use it) Facebook, Twitter all far left. That's tbe cancel culture or the Woke people. Come to CA, releasing 76,000 prisoners. Crime pays here! Poetry~.spring is lovely but not in an unfree nation! Where only one side of the political spectrum has rights. Banning of books? That's HITLER reborn' no? I love quotes by S..Rushdie.
