Recovery

My heart spills this feeling,
Something I won’t be needing,
As time wont soon be healing,
This profound internal bleeding.

Time and whatever it makes,
Shows me what it fakes,
As my heart soon awakes,
I’ll forget no matter what it takes.

When it was you and me,
It was all I could see,
But now I’ll let you be,
Of me you’ll forever be free.
