Reconcile

You never told me how to walk on through your door
You only guided me on to its true location
But, here I stand not knowing how I can do more
With a love that’s ready for resurrection

So…take me back, open up the door
Swing it wide… and hide no more
The air out here… is cold when faced alone
Take me back… to your home

I know the wants, but the hows remain so tough
I wish to tell you how I feel
When I speak, well the words come out messed up
Here’s my heart, it’s not concealed

So…take me back, open up the door
Swing it wide… and hide no more
The air out here… is cold when faced alone
Take me back… to your home

Just remember… this was a happy home
For a time… we truly had it all
We can do it… we have to surely try
Take me back
	Take me back
Take me back… to your home

Michael this lovely write brought a tear to my eye. The doors of the house are always open to those who choose to reconcile with the Lord, He knows what is in the heart and mind... Humanity errs much, yet His forgiveness is truly divine. Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt read. God's Love and Many Blessings, Always, Adell
