Recomforted
Naked and cold.
Unsure and insecure.
Propelled out from the sweet comforts
Into the new and the unknown.
Alone.
A finger was tended to me; I grasped it.
A figure was bending to me, smiling
"I'm with you little one from home...
and back to home."
"Do not be afraid...I'll always be you."
Warmth and comfort washed over me.
Naked and cold I stand today
Trembling, stripped to my very core.
Left alone.
A hand tends to me;
I look up. There...is God!
"Why are you afraid today, I'm still here..."
I'll survive!
