Recollecting a Sad Memory, a Loss and a Dream

Recollecting A Sad Memory, A Loss And A Dream I bid thee adieu, this my last sad note. A call to remember, heart once so true, as Fate oft holds its power asymptote, sky pallid, never again true deep blue. Robert J. Lindley, 6-07-2020 Rhyme,( Youth And Its Many Mysteries ) Notes: (1.) * asymptote as·ymp·tote /'as?m(p)?tot/ Learn to pronounce noun a line that continually approaches a given curve but does not meet it at any finite distance. (2.) * pal·lid /'pal?d/ Learn to pronounce adjective (of a person's face) pale, typically because of poor health. Similar: pale white pasty pasty-faced wan colorless anemic bloodless washed out peaky peakish peaked whey-faced ashen ashen-faced ashy chalky chalk white gray whitish white-faced waxen waxy blanched drained pinched green ghastly sickly sallow deathly pale

Very touching and melancholy write, Sir Roberto - is this about a lost love, or a passing? Great stuff!
