Recognize

Could it be that you don’t see me? In all my beauty you dismissed me. I know I’m flawed and yes, your right, yep you Ooops I missed a step, but how could it be you didn’t recognize me. Unheard, unseen in all I had to give, true beauty from within you didn’t recognize me. No, not because of my inconsistencies or because of your perfections, but because you just chose not to recognize me. A human being with love to give, a human being with imperfections, human not inhumane you couldn’t, you wouldn’t and chose not to recognize me. Yep, you go your way and I’ll go mine with you choosing to not recognize the lies. No, I’m not mad not even, I will walk a mile in my brother's shoes to make the difference to be seen and heard to feel the warmth of my decision to be in competition with who, what, where, and when the journey of my despair. The unfairness that sometimes plagues my infirmity of you not recognizing me.
