Reckoning Diabetes

Listen to poem:
Written: June 08, 2024 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am recognizing this horrible condition It is to assess the effect it will generate Every shard and unit of the human body. Also, accepting the truth is crucial Balanced fitness and diet are options Accept each piece of advice seriously Still, symptoms of pancreatitis may breed So you still feel frightened There are several potential hazards. Explore how diabetes destroys cells It may require years to learn How much actual harm occurred? It is too late to reverse the harm. Consider it a ticking time shell It may burst within without escape The greatest hazard it poses It may burst within without escape You may lose your vision or kidneys A stroke, renal failure, and others are risks. The litany of doubts that live in the heart Fear apropos health risks is ubiquitous It won't pull away from you as a specter As long as this sickness is incurable.

SP, you put into poetry a significant warning to those of us affected by this disease. It's hard for many to behave properly even with this condition since there are behavioral attributes to it for many. This should help people focus their mental strength as much as possible.

I'm glad you wrote this. None in my family, but the devastation I've seen in others makes me care that medicine should press the panic button. A solution is out there.

I have diabetes also, as well as some other conditions.. I used to have a real sweet tooth, but try to not have too much, but still stray away... Your poem describes how someone can suffer from this condition.. My mum has it really bad, taking insulin and lots of other tablets daily... An important poem to share with others.. I call it the silent killer..

How good poem and advise to give us my dear Sotto. This is becoming a big problem actually. Very serious to consider. But what we are doing so wrong?. Difficult to know. Very nice to have read your advised poem for us to take care about what we eat. Well done Sotto.

My doctor told me, it is a terrible disease that keeps on keeping and gets worse with time. My husband and I both have it. My husband has it worse than me, but his is under control now. Mine has always been under control. I controlled it with diet and the exercise I was getting, but since I can't exercise because of old age problems it is harder. Thanks for sharing this one with us.
