Recipt

Your the type of friend
that I don't need a receipt for
I threw that sucker out long ago
once I found out you were
in it for the long haul

I watched that receipt fly
right out of my hands
because your for keeps
and I don't ever plan on
returning you
you've secured your place
in my heart for life

So with that said
I promise to be there
for the rain, the pain and
those few times you go
completely insane.

I will be there for the laughs
and the little mishaps
and all the fun things
that being best friends
will bring.

I would never put a price on our
friendship because it's price less.
So ask me if I need store credit
or a complete refund of she
and I will say hell no are you crazy?
There is nothing and no one
who can take her place
she will always remain in first place.
