Recipe For Living
stir in some compassion
mix in some kindness
fold in some mercy
pour in some humanity
sprinkle in some humility
a tablespoon of sincerity
a cup of character
a dash of charm
a pinch of faith
a teaspoon of happiness
a drop of love
toss in some hope
shake in some charity
a dollop of determination
a half cup of optimism
a quart of courage
blend until you have
the smoothness of integrity
cover it with forgiveness
cook it in friendship
ice it with responsibility
serve it with maturity
pray over it with devotion
then eat it with
the grace of God
