Recession

Life they say is but a journey traveled
by the many, but shapes only the few.
Throughout this winding path there are
many heartaches, as well as, times of immense joy.
A wise man is known by his scars
and praised for his glories.
Yet as for me the scars still bleed.

It's often said that true love only comes
once in a man's life.
And though I've felt it a myriad of times.
I truly can say that I've never captured the ring.
Perhaps I'll never capture such warmth within my lifetime
And if so, that is the true meaning of tragedy.
