Receive

He said to not look upon his face,
But to listen to his voice,
Or I will surely die in grace
If I should make that choice...
And if I turned my eyes
In the direction that he be,
It would be the last time
That I return what's given me...
Thru eyes that are just gateways
And the windows to my soul,
Which tries to leave the same way
That it came an angel told...
What's given must returneth
To the light from which it came,
For the living that affirm this
Gets a halo in his name...
So look upon the light
If you are ready to receive,
The only thing that's right
About the things we all believe...
